On April 16, 2024, a regular meeting of the working group of participants of the DEFEP project “Distance Education for the Future: EU best practices in response to the needs of higher education and labor market” within the framework of the Erasmus+ KA2 program from the Uman National University of Horticulture took place.
The working group meeting thoroughly discussed important aspects of the project: the completion of Work Package 4, which included the development of institutional and organizational support for the distance education system, and the process of purchasing the necessary equipment and software under Work Package 5.
The participants of the meeting focused on analyzing the results achieved and planning the next steps for the effective implementation of technological solutions in the educational process.
The project, funded by the European Union, reflects the Uman National University of Horticulture’s commitment to implementing best educational practices and technologies. Using knowledge and experience from across the EU, the university aims to create a distance education program that is not only flexible and accessible, but also capable of providing a high-quality educational experience that will prepare students for future challenges in the labor market.
