A laboratory for distance learning was opened at the Faculty of Economics and Entrepreneurship of UNUS as part of the DEFEP project.
Uman National University of Horticulture continues to actively implement innovations in the educational process. Within the framework of the international ERASMUS+ DEFEP project “Distance Education of the Future: EU Best Practices in Response to the Demands of Modern Higher Education and Labour Market’, a Distance Education Laboratory was opened at the Faculty of Economics and Entrepreneurship. This laboratory is designed to support the educational process in a distance form, using modern technologies and platforms to organise effective learning.
The main objective of the laboratory is to provide a high level of distance education in line with the needs of the modern labour market and students who want to receive quality education in a convenient format. The use of platforms such as Moodle allows for an interactive educational process, enabling teachers and students to interact effectively during classes.
Distance learning is growing in popularity and the DEFEP project aims to improve teaching and learning methods and increase the availability of knowledge regardless of the physical location of students. In addition, the laboratory is a platform for implementing European best practices in education, which will not only improve the level of education, but also strengthen partnerships with foreign educational institutions.
The laboratory will also become an important tool for research in the field of distance learning, which will improve teaching methods and expand opportunities for distance learning. For more information, please visit the UNUS website.
