UKRAINIAN NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF HORTICULTURE IS ACTIVELY IMPLEMENTING THE DEFEP PROJECT WITHIN THE ERASMUS+ PROGRAM
Uman National University of Horticulture continues to implement the ambitious DEFEP project “Distance Education for the Future: EU Best Practices in Response to the Demands of Higher Education and Labor Market Students”. This project, which is being implemented with the support of the Erasmus+ KA2 program, aims to improve distance learning and increase its effectiveness in accordance with the requirements of the modern educational and labor space.
At the last meeting of the University’s Academic Council, two important documents were approved that will form the basis for the further development of distance learning: Regulations on the Ethics of Communication in Distance Learning and Regulations on Distance Learning Courses and their Certification. Thanks to these regulations, the university is making efforts to ensure high standards of education and responsibility in the educational process.
Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Mykhailo Malyovanyi, who presented the main components of these documents, emphasized the importance of such steps: “Thanks to these provisions, we not only improve the quality of distance learning, but also create a solid foundation for ethical and productive communication between students and teachers, which is key to successful education in the 21st century.”
