Distance learning in the master’s program “Economics of Social Security”
Uman National University of Horticulture introduces distance learning in the master’s program “Economics of Social Security”
On April 11, at a meeting of the Academic Council of Uman National
University of Horticulture, the Regulations on Distance Learning at Uman
National University of Horticulture were reviewed, discussed and approved.
The introduction of this Regulation paves the way for the introduction of
distance education in the Master’s degree program “Social Security
Economics”, which was selected for implementation within the framework of
the EU project ERASMUS-EDU-2022-CBHE-STRAND-2 DEFEP “Distance Education
for Future: best EU practices in response to the requests of modern higher
education seekers and labor market”.
The decision to choose the second (master’s) level Social Security Economics
program for this innovative way of learning was due to its relevance and the urgent
need to address contemporary issues of social security economics with the help
of modern educational tools and methodologies. The program is designed to equip
students with the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in the field,
providing a flexible educational environment that goes beyond traditional
classroom instruction.
During the meeting, the Academic Council also approved the program’s
curriculum.
By introducing distance education, the university intends to offer more
inclusive educational opportunities that can be adapted to different learning
preferences and life circumstances.
