From January 28 to 30, 2024, the team from the Uman National University of Horticulture took an active part in the key organizational meeting of the partners of the international DEFEP project. The Lviv National University of Nature Management (LNNM) was the venue of this significant event, where representatives from participating partners gathered in a hybrid format that allowed participants to be involved both in person and virtually.

Vasyl Lopushniak, Acting Rector of LNNM, warmly welcomed the participants, expressing hope for productive cooperation and a pleasant stay at the university. Among the main issues that were raised during the meetings was the discussion of the results of the first year of the project, including the preparation of an interim report and the planning of future stages of work.

The program of the meeting included a number of sessions:

  • The Coordinating Committee, together with the Communication and Transparency Committee and the Promotion Group, focused on the strategy of disseminating information about the project and promoting experimental master’s educational programs.
  • The joint meeting of the Coordination and Executive Committees was devoted to the implementation of the tasks of work package 4.
  • In the field of quality control and ethics, criteria for evaluation and implementation of project tasks were determined.
  • Preparation for the pilot stage and other organizational issues within the framework of the project were discussed.

The participants also took part in the solemn events of the LNNM, which became an important part of the social program of the meeting.

This organizational meeting confirmed the high level of involvement of UNUH in international educational cooperation and its commitment to the introduction of innovations in the educational process.
