Uman University of Horticulture develops distance education with European partners
On July 26, 2024, the Uman National University of Horticulture held a working group meeting within the framework of the DEFEP project “Distance Education for the Future: EU Best Practices”, implemented under the Erasmus+ KA2 program. The meeting was devoted to discussing key aspects of the project, including trainings and facilitation sessions for administrators, consultants and trainers specializing in distance education.
Mykhailo Malovanyi, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, noted that project participants can register for trainings that will take place in synchronous and asynchronous formats. Asynchronous classes will be held on the Moodle platform of the Moldova State University, where participants will have access to training materials, presentations, tests, and a discussion forum. The final stage of the training, which will run from August 1 to 21, will be a series of Zoom meetings. Successful completion of the course will result in the issuance of certificates.
